The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Chapter 104: You ended us

"What are you doing, don't come close" she thinks to herself"

As Nathaniel closes the space between them, he looks into her eyes, disappointed.

Never would he believe that the woman standing in front of him who happened to be his mate would betray him. He took her so highly and thought she was different from other girls he had known. Nathaniel wanted to give her the world and be by her side.

"You are fake"

"I have been told"

"Really? You started a game and played it so well but you made the wrong choice when you picked me Alexandra Guerrero as your opponent, I will never forget this day neither will I forget your face" He leaves and Alexandra stares at him till he was out of sight.

Walking through the woods, Nathaniel moves pass the oak tree, a lot of things runs through his mind. He never expected Alexandra to play a dangerous game with his heart, although it was never love at first sight for her but when he got to know her he began to admire her and after he watched her defeat Adam. Nathaniel's feeling grew to likeness.

He wanted to be by her side everytime protecting her from the people who wanted to hurt her but now he wasn't sure anymore. It may have been her plan all along, staging everything while picking out the most feared Alpha in the region as her toy.

"She played me for a fool" Nathaniel throws a hard punch against a tree, groaning, he falls to the ground.

"How dare you Alexandra Guerrero" Tears crowd his eyes and he quickly wipes it off, he was an Alpha and need not cry for a mate who doesn't deserve even a drop of his tears.

Glancing back, Nathaniel imagined turning around and running back just to rip their heads off. He couldn't still fathom why Alexandra would want to be with Adam.

"Was it love?" He whispers lowering down to the ground.

Looking at himself, Nathaniel knew that even without a mirror he was undeniably handsome, a lot of people told him that and even while he was a little boy, they teachers at school let him off the hook because of his good looks.

"What does he have that I don't have?" Nathaniel runs his hand through his hair, aside the muscular body, there was nothing remotely attractive about Adam Hawthorn.

He didn't know why Alexandra and Olivia were attracted to him, maybe because he came from a prestigious home, Nathaniel wasn't sure, all he knows was that Alexandra was making a big mistake and he couldn't help but be disappointed at her.

He thought h she was different yet she ended up been worse than other girls he had come across with.

"What a two timing weezel" he smiles but it didn't reach her eyes, the pain was in still in his heart but he wouldn't let it weigh him down.

He was an Alpha and after what Alexandra did to him, she doesn't deserve for him to be in the corner sobbing.noveldrama

"I thought she was different yet she managed to fool me, that wench, how could she have pulled it off alone" Nathaniel wonders and in that moment he wanted to go back time then he would have choosed to stay behind that tree listening to Alexandra and Adam than coming out to bombard her with questions only to be humiliated and disappointed.

That was a blow to his face since no one has ever done that to him.

"Why you, Alexandra? You keep stepping over the boundary, doing things that no one has ever done yet I keep leaving you" He picks up a stick and spells her name on the ground.

"Must have had me under a spell or something"

Laughing at her name, he had spelled on the ground, he wondered how only her could make him feel something and at the same time snatch it away from him yet he couldn't do a thing.

"You are one of a kind" He smirks as memories of Alexandra fills his mind for a moment.

Nathaniel stares into space for a long brooding moment, wishing werewolves had the power to erase sad day in their lives then he wouldn't hesitate to do it. Nothing could be used to describe how he felt, the pain Alexandra inflicted on him was worse than a gunshot.

"I will never forgive you Alexandra" He clenches his jaw, slipping his hand against dry fallen leaves, molds his fist tightly.

"How could you do this to me after everything we have been through? I thought you were mine" He whispers imagining Alexandra and Adam together somewhere in the woods taking a picnic together.

He had always suspected Alexandra had a thing for Adam and had while she had once accused him of having numerous women at his feet. Nathaniel had asked her about Adam and she had denied having feelings for him. Alexandra had even told him she doesn't believe in love, it was nothing to her than a little boy words to a naive little girl and Nathaniel had believed her with hopes that she was different.

"How could you play me?" He laughs still finding it hard to accept the fact that Alexandra was no longer his and he shouldn't care about her anymore.

"I thought you were mine. From the first day I set my eyes on you, I always thought you were mate and I felt it, together with my wolf, how could it all change? How could you change?" He thinks to himself, closing his eyes playing the scenes over in his head.

Nathaniel was certain he didn't miss anything, he heard it all, while she had thought he was still at crimson pack, he was right behind her listening to her while she rejected him, even trying to run away from their marriage. The same marriage she agreed to.
