The CEO's Mischievous Little Bride

Chapter 705 Teasing

Everyone saw Teddy's tear-streaked face. "Look at Mr. Olteran's kid, isn't he adorable. when he cries?"

Teddy instantly drew gasps from the crowd. His tiny pink lips were pouting in the

cutest way.

Cindy, hearing the compliments, immediately started bragging, "My Teddy is adorable, but he's spoiled rotten. He cries whenever things don't go his way. But when he smiles, he's even cuter!

You wouldn't believe it, when he's in a good mood, he babbles to us and smiles. We don't even watch TV or listen to music anymore; we just watch his little face and listen to his voice.

My husband's first thing when he gets home is to hold him."

Vera cuddled Teddy, "Teddy, give Cindy a smile."

Teddy's crying quieted down, and he burrowed his face into Vera's chest.

Cindy noticed the tree trunk and the soft mat on the ground behind them, curious, "Vera, weren't you guys picking cherries? How did you end up in the woods?"

Vera turned the camera around to show Cindy what the family was up to. "We picked cherries this morning, and then Molly said there was a fun spot nearby, so we all came over."

Just then, Patrick came over with a skewer of grilled lamb, feeding it directly to his wife.

Teddy, with tears still clinging to his eyelashes, stopped crying and stared at Vera's mouth.

Watching Vera chew, Teddy mimicked her, moving his little mouth. Then, he opened his mouth wide, eyes fixed on Vera's mouth, trying to take a bite.

His tiny hand reached for Vera's mouth, grabbing for food, "Patrick, help!"

Patrick came over and scooped up his son with one arm. Instantly, everyone on the phone could hear Teddy's loud cries, matching his chubby little body.

"Mr. Olteran's kid sure can cry, huh?" a woman next to Cindy laughed.

Cindy replied, "You haven't seen anything yet. Sometimes my kid can cry non-stop, and nothing we do can calm him down."

This was one of those times when nothing worked. No matter who held him, it didn't help.

Eventually, Teddy ended up back in Vera's arms, pouting and looking miserable.

"Cindy, I can't keep video chatting. Teddy's back in my arms. I'll hold him for now. I'll bring some cherries home tonight."

"Okay, stay safe, and remember to use sunscreen."

After ending the video call, Cindy pulled up the chat history in the group and shared Teddy's daily antics, "Look, when he smiles, our whole family smiles with him. And when he cries, well, you just heard it."

A friend commented, "You seem to get along well with your family. You were so busy with your sister-in-law's wedding, and you helped take care of her kid too."

Cindy laughed, "My family is full of kids who haven't really grown up yet. Even though they're married and have their own families, they're still just in their early twenties, playing house. With my mom gone, I have to take on the role of the eldest sister and look after everyone.

Vera was like a kid even after she got married, always getting into trouble, and giving Patrick headaches. He didn't dare let her hang out with my other mischievous siblings. Patrick even had to take Vera to work with him.

But Vera matured a lot after becoming a mom. Now it's Molly's turn. She still doesn't quite understand the true meaning of marriage. I can tell she's still confused. She wants to have a good life with Sebastian, but because of their past, it's hard to change overnight. She's still like a kid. But Vera went through the same thing, and maybe Molly will mature once she becomes a mom too."

"And what about Randall?" someone asked.

Cindy chuckled, "How about I tell you about my Susan instead?" She didn't have much to say about her son, but she had plenty to share about Susan.

"Cindy, how do Molly and Vera get along?"

When people go out, they usually talk about their boyfriend's family, but Cindy always talks about the funny things at home. Her boyfriend, Randall, is just that a boyfriend. But to others, it sounds enviable.

So, many people are curious about the Olteran family gossip. If there were any conflicts, it would give them more to talk about.

But Cindy laughed and said, "Those two? When they're together, my house is a mess! Patrick and Sebastian worry themselves sick. Every time there's trouble, it's those two causing it. When they're getting along, they even share clothes. When they're not, they spill each other's secrets, trying to outdo each other.

They've been friends for over ten years, even before they got married. They're the best of friends."

"They knew each other before getting married?"

Cindy nodded, "Molly coming back was thanks to Vera."

Cindy finished bragging about one thing and moved on to the next.

Back at the main spot, Vera wasn't having such a good time.

Teddy wouldn't let anyone else hold him, only clinging to Vera. He cried whenever someone else tried to hold him.

But Vera needed to eat!

Patrick brought over a bottle of formula, to feed Teddy. Teddy held the bottle with his little hands, still looking up at Vera while drinking.

So, every time Vera took a bite of her meat skewer, she had to cover Teddy's eyes first. Then, while Teddy struggled, she quickly took a bite before uncovering his eyes.

Mother and son stared at each other, Vera chewing slowly.

After finishing the formula, Teddy sat on Vera's lap, looking up at her with his chubby face, blinking his big clear eyes, sensing something was off.

Soon, Teddy's eyes were covered again. Before he could struggle, they were uncovered quickly. Teddy thought Vera was playing with him and started laughing foolishly. No one dared eat in front of Teddy.

Patrick had to hide his meat skewer behind Vera's back. Later, he deliberately took a bite in front of Teddy, and Teddy's gaze shifted to him.

Patrick stretched out his arms, and this time Teddy clung to Patrick.noveldrama

Patrick carried him away, and Teddy's eyes were fixed on Patrick's mouth. Taking advantage of Teddy's distraction, Patrick hid the meat skewer behind Teddy's back and handed it to Vera, who turned her back to Teddy and quickly ate. Teddy kept watching Patrick's mouth, unaware of what Vera was doing behind him. Patrick smiled, leaned in, and kissed Teddy. Teddy thought Patrick was feeding him, opening his mouth wide, but it was just a kiss on the cheek.

With his drooling mouth, Teddy tried to nibble on Patrick's face.

Patrick laughed, wiping his face with a tissue, happily pushing Teddy away.

On the other side, Sebastian watched enviously as Molly drank a bottle of soda and ate

a grilled pepper, "Sebastian, don't stare. Teddy's just being silly because he's full. Wait half an hour, and he'll cry twice more for sure."
