‘If we manage to take Aubree down and she comes back to the Wilson family willingly, there’s no way she won’t end up competing with me, Bryan mused, a hint of guilt in his heart. ‘If she wants to be a good little sister, I’d be happy to be a good big brother to her.

‘But what really worries me is, if Bree Technology goes under and Aubree comes back to the Wilson family to fight for her place, then it’ll be hard to predict who might lose and win,’ Bryan reasoned to himself.

Bryan could not help thinking that things might be different if Aubree were to leave Rithol City.

Alvin gave a slight smile. “Of course. I’ve got something on Uncle Bowen. If I play my cards right, it could be the vital puzzle piece to cause a huge rift between them. But for that to work, there needs to be some friction between them first.”

“I’ve already planted someone close to Uncle Bowen,” Alvin continued. “What I need from you, Mr. Wilson, is to make things a bit more difficult for Aubree. It’ll be good to keep her busy and tie up her free time to make sure she doesn’t get too many chances to see Uncle

As Alvin was laying out his plans, Oliver, who had been silent the whole time, suddenly raised his hand with a little wave, instantly drawing everyone’s attention.

I’m only in Rithol City because of a work transfer anyway. I’ll be heading back home sooner or later.”
