Josephine knew she was already getting a huge favor. In a place as expensive as Rithol City, even a regular apartment was way out of her reach right now. Even with the compensation, she and Mattias still had to make ends meet.

She’d never been lucky in her life, but now she realized that maybe all her luck in the first half of her life went into meeting her husband, and the rest was spent on meeting Aubree, who was the one who changed her life.
