Tobias felt humiliated, especially in front of Rose. He couldn't bear it, and his face twisted with rage as he slowly crawled to his feet. "You dare mess with me?" Bam! Matthew kicked Tobias in the face.

Tobias' vision went black as he fell to the ground. It took him a long time to regain his senses.

He finally realized that he was no match for Matthew, and he hadn't brought his men along with him. Now, he had to figure out other ways to deal with Matthew.

Matthew's voice was cold. "A huge mistake? What mistake?" He still didn't understand why this guy, whom he had never met before, was targeting him.

Tobias' face throbbed with burning pain. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became.

He was a notable figure in Lambda City. If word of this got out, how would he maintain his reputation?

He turned to Rose. "Rose, considering my status as one of the One Dragon, Two Tigers, and Three Beasts, is it too much to ask to borrow ten men from you?"

Rose nodded. "It's fine. Given your status, I could lend you all the people you want. But what do you need them for?"

Hearing Rose agree so readily, Tobias was delighted, realizing that his reputation still held some weight.

However, her follow-up question irked him. "Rose, thank you for the favor. Don't worry, you won't lose out by lending me your men. I'll make sure to repay you. As for what I plan to do, I'm going to cripple this Matthew! That bastard dared to lay a hand on me!" As he spoke, he slowly got back on his feet.

With Rose's ten promised men, he regained confidence. With enough manpower, taking care of Matthew was a piece of cake.

Rose's face held a mysterious smile. "If you plan to deal with Matthew, I can't lend them to you. You'll have to figure this out on your own!" "Huh?"

Tobias froze and stared at Rose in disbelief. "You... Are you messing with me?"

Rose maintained a slight smile on her beautiful face. "I'm not messing with you. If you have another purpose, I can lend them to you. But if it's to deal with Matthew, I won't lend you a single man."

"Why? Do you know who Matthew offended? You're going against some very powerful people!"

Tobias was baffled. Matthew had offended someone important, yet Rose, a newcomer to Lambda City, refused to help him.
