Chapter 352
Chapter 352:
Her gasp melted against my lips, and for a split second, I thought she was going to pull away, maybe slap me again. But then her hands fisted in my shirt, and she kissed me back just as fiercely.
Fuck.
I’d missed this. The taste of her, the feel of her, the way her body melted into mine like we were made to fit together. My hands slid up to cup her face, holding her there as I deepened the kiss, pouring every ounce of regret, love, and desperation into it.
She whimpered against my mouth, and the sound sent a surge of heat straight to my groin. My fingers tangled in her hair, and I pressed closer, groaning as her nails raked down my chest.
“Jasmine,” I murmured against her lips, my voice husky. “You have no idea how much I missed you. How much I fucking love you.”
She didn’t answer, just kissed me harder, her body pressing against mine in a way that made it impossible to think straight.
I was seconds away from losing control when she pulled back, her lips swollen and her eyes blazing.
“You’re still an idiot,” she said breathlessly, her tone sharp but her expression soft.
I grinned, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “Yeah, but I’m your idiot.” She rolled her eyes but didn’t argue, which felt like a win.
“By the way,” I added, my grin widening, “the bed here? Fucking terrible. Hard as a damn rock. Maybe we should head back to our pack, you know, for the sake of your comfort.”
She arched a brow, but the corner of her mouth twitched like she was fighting a smile. “You’re unbelievable.”
“Unbelievably in love with you,” I shot back, pulling her into my arms.
She sighed, resting her head against my chest. “Fine. We’ll go back. But don’t think this means you’re off the hook.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” I said, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

For the first time in what felt like forever, I felt like I could breathe again. We still had a long way to go, but we were going home. Together. I fucking won.
Jasmine’s POV
The familiar scent of home greeted me the moment we stepped into the house. It was a mix of fresh wood, pine, and something uniquely ours—something that made this place feel like a sanctuary. Everything here held a memory, a piece of us. The worn-out couch where Ryder had pinned me down for an impromptu tickle war. The dining table where we’d shared stolen glances and secret smiles during meals. And our bed. God, our bed.
I had missed it all.
But this time, coming back wasn’t the same. Everything felt different. I was different.
I was pregnant.
And that reality brought with it a thousand new emotions I hadn’t yet sorted through.
Ryder had been quiet for most of the journey back, his hand never leaving mine, as if letting go wasn’t an option. It wasn’t possessive; it was grounding. As much as I hated to admit it, I needed that. Needed him.
By the time we reached our room, the fatigue of the day was starting to creep in. I glanced at Ryder as he closed the door behind us, his movements slower, more deliberate. There was a tension in his shoulders I hadn’t seen in a while.
“You okay?” I asked softly, kicking off my shoes and heading toward the bed. He turned to me, his eyes dark and intent, filled with something I couldn’t quite name.
“I should be asking you that,” he said, his voice rough.
