Bradley looked down at Cameron on the ground.

With a running start, Cameron launched herself straight over the castle wall in one

smooth motion.

in disbelief. 'Did Cam really just jump out? That wall is 15 feet high. How did she even do that?' he thought.

Even though Bradley could hardly believe it, he had to accept it. After all, it happened right before his eyes.

'So all my little tricks must have seemed like a joke to Cam,' he thought.

Cameron strode right back into the castle, headed downstairs, then scaled the wall up to the second floor with nothing but her bare hands- fast and effortless.

Bradley's jaw dropped all over again.

With a light hop, Cameron slipped straight into the room.

Cameron glanced at Bradley, who was still staring at her in disbelief. "Brad, did you really think you could keep me locked up?"

Bradley froze, at a loss for words. After a long moment, he finally muttered softly, "Cam, why didn't you leave back then?"

Cameron shook her head. "I don't know. I didn't even realize how I felt about you back then, but I guess my actions spoke for me before I even knew it myself."

Bradley's eyes widened in shock. "Wait? Are you saying that you already liked me, even seven years ago?"

Cameron nodded. "Yeah. Looking back over the years, I think I did. I just didn't realize it myself at the time."

Before Cameron could finish, Bradley caught her arm and pulled her into his arms.

"Cam?" Bradley whispered her name softly, and before she could say anything, he lowered his head and captured her lips in a kiss.

For an entire month, they hadn't seen each other-not once. Bradley missed her every second of every day. But he just couldn't bring himself

to come back.

Bradley was too ashamed to face her. But what terrified him most was the idea of losing Cameron for good.

Bradley reached up and pulled the curtains shut, and the room grew darker.

Cameron shot him a puzzled look.

Bradley spoke first. "Cam, is tonight okay for you?"

"Huh?" Cameron blinked, even more confused.

Bradley lifted her up, and Cameron instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist.

He carried her over to the big, fancy bed, his voice low and rough. "After all this time apart, how could one kiss ever be enough?"

Cameron was speechless. 'Wasn't he just looking all sad and remorseful a second ago?' she thought. 'Men sure can change their tune fast. When Bradley finally pulled away from her lips, Cameron finally had a chance to ask, "Brad, it's been so long-did you miss me?"

Bradley didn't answer with words. Instead, he showed her exactly how much he'd missed her.

By the time Cameron finally opened the curtains again, the sky outside had turned a deep shade of twilight.

She sent Jacqueline a quick WhatsApp message, letting her know she wouldn't be home for dinner tonight.

Bradley draped his long arm around her, watching as she played with her phone. He let out a soft sigh. "Cam, don't go home tonight."

Cameron shot him a look. "So you went off the grid, and now you want me to disappear with you, too?"
