Chapter 906
Mrs. Vincent's eyes widened slightly, but she kept her cool. "Greta, since you have friends over, we won't intrude on your conversation."
With that, she motioned for the others to leave. "Let's give them some space."
But suddenly, Greta's face turned ashen, and she dropped to her knees in front of Mrs. Vincent, clutching her hand desperately. "Please, Mrs. Vincent, I need your help."
Mrs. Vincent, who had just risen, sat back down, giving Morris an apologetic look. "This situation is..."
Greta, determined not to be dismissed, quickly continued, "Mrs. Vincent, you know my family is small. My dad's gone, and my sick mother can't make decisions for me. You've always been like a grandmother to me. I'm begging you, please
help."
Mrs. Vincent asked gently, "What do you need me to do?"
With a mix of sorrow and anger on her face, Greta pointed at Morris, her voice quivering with emotion. "I once had a happy family. My childhood sweetheart and I were so in love. But this man, using his hacking skills, bankrupted my husband overnight. My husband, unable to take the blow, forced me to divorce him to protect me, then vanished. And yet, this guy only spent three years in prison. I'm convinced my husband's disappearance is tied to him."
Mrs. Vincent's expression shifted dramatically. "Is this true?"
She turned to Morris. "What do you have to say for yourself?"
Morris was momentarily taken aback. Mrs. Vincent's kind and unbiased nature made him warm to her a bit.
His usually proud face softened a touch. "Yes, I did cause her husband's bankruptcy."
Greta's eyes sparkled with a sly glint as she forced out a few tears. "Mrs. Vincent, I have a deep-seated grudge against him. I can't even stand the sight of him."
Mrs. Vincent paused to think. "You don't seem like a truly evil person. Why did you break up their family?"
Morris didn't want to burden Mrs. Vincent with these personal squabbles, especially since he had come to like her.
He replied sincerely, "Mrs. Vincent, this is a personal issue issue between me. It's better if

Mrs. Vincent insisted, "But I want to help you."
Morris was caught off guard, staring at her.
Her expression was serious as she told him, "As long as you have a just cause, I'll back you."
Morris was genuinely surprised.
Greta, feeling wronged, tearfully cried out, "Mrs. Vincent, how can you side with him? I'm the victim here."noveldrama

Mrs. Vincent gently patted Greta's hand. "Greta, you saved my life, and I'm forever grateful. But I valuedògic omotion. Whoever's right will have my support."
Greta was anxious and uneasy. However, seeing Morris's reluctance to speak much, she was sure he couldn't out-argue her. Feeling
emboldened, she declared, "Mel.net"
Rowland, I know you're skilled
enough to turn a life sentence into just three years. You must be one of a kind. Even though I'm just a fragile woman, I'm not afraid of you. I'm determined to find the evidence that ties you to my husband's
disappearance and bring you to
justice."
The Sharp family daughters-in-law gasped, covering their mouths. "Oh wow, he's
been to prison and is involved in a murder case."
Mrs. Vincent looked at Morris, whose calm and composed demeanor impressed her. This young man seemed destined for great things.
What do you think?
