Chapter 841 Move in Lakeview Estates

Phoebe pressed her lips tightly together, her gaze evasive, "Just think of it as my bad taste."

The grip on her chin suddenly tightened as Theodore's eyes burned with intensity. He demanded, "What exactly happened that night?"

Phoebe winced in pain and frowned, "Why are you asking this? No matter what happened, the result won't change. I had kids with other men."

"Phoebe!" Theodore growled, his rationality almost drowned by anger.

Phoebe raised an eyebrow at him, with a hint of self-mockery in her tone, "What, do you think that if you label it as an accident, you can forgive me and want to continue being with me?"

Theodore pressed his lips together without speaking, but his expression said it all.

Phoebe suddenly laughed, "Mr. Reynolds, stop deceiving yourself. It wasn't an accident. I did it willingly, and I had the children willingly too."

"Phoebe!" Theodore was furious, looking as if he might strangle her the next second, but Phoebe looked at him without flinching.

She didn't want to anger Theodore, but she also didn't want to continue this entanglement with him. She looked directly at Theodore and said, "I slept with others and had children with them. To this day, I don't know who the fathers are. Do you..."

Theodore's eyes blazing with anger. Just as he was about to speak, she softened her voice, "Do you still want me?"

Theodore's pupils contracted, looking at her in disbelief. He even thought he was hallucinating, "What did you just say?"

Phoebe looked at him steadily, regretting her words as soon as they left her mouth. She had said she would never go back to an ex, so why was it that she couldn't seem to stick to that when it came to Theodore? She had previously refused his advances because the kids hadn't been exposed.

She thought she could delay it as long as possible.

She was afraid he would retaliate if he found out about the kids. But his car accident yesterday made her reassess her feelings.

She still liked him.

"If you don't mind the existence of the kids..."

The next second, Theodore released her chin. He stood up straight, looked at her for a moment, then suddenly turned and walked away.

Phoebe watched his back in confusion. He just left like that?

As expected, she had overestimated herself. Proud as Theodore was, how could he be willing to raise someone else's children?

Theodore stood by the door, his posture as straight as an arrow. He said, "Come to the Imperial Apartment tonight to pick me up. I'm moving in with you."

"What?" Phoebe was shocked by his words. She had just asked if he still wanted her,

and now they were immediately moving in together?

Theodore said nothing more and walked out the door.

Phoebe spent the whole day in a daze. Theodore suddenly wanted to move to Lakeview Estates. What was he thinking?

She thought he was just saying it casually, but when she got off work, she received a WhatsApp message from Theodore. It was a picture of his packed clothes and suitcase.

She realized that after three years, she really didn't understand Theodore anymore, or maybe she never had.

Phoebe looked at the pile of clothes. Had Theodore emptied his entire wardrobe? But she was the one who said it. Could she still take it back now?

She called Guadalupe to pick her up while thinking about how she had confidently said

so much in front of Taylor yesterday, only to contradict herself today.

The nanny car stopped by the elevator on the basement floor of the apartment. Phoebe took the elevator upstairs. Just as she reached the apartment door, it opened from the inside, and Theodore was standing there.

Phoebe nervously licked her lips. Seeing him turn and walk inside, she quickly followed, nervously saying, "Theodore, are you really moving to my place? There are four kids at my house. It's very noisy."

Theodore paused, turned back, and stared at her coldly, "Are you having second thoughts?"

"I..." Phoebe wanted to say she was just impulsively testing him and didn't mean it, but that would be too cruel. She bit her lip, "I'm just worried you won't sleep well."

"I sleep very well and won't be affected. I'm not afraid of the noise," Theodore's voice was calm but firm, giving Phoebe no chance to regret.

Phoebe wished she could go back a few hours and shake some sense into her past self. "But our house is full of women."

"Aren't there a butler and bodyguards?" Theodore's words cut through her last bit of resistance.

Phoebe deflated like a punctured balloon. She walked around to face Theodore, looking at him seriously, "Do you really still want me, even though you think I'm tainted?"

"Tainted?" Theodore echoed. Then he suddenly leaned in and sniffed her neck. "You smell nice. Now, go help me move my things."

Phoebe made five trips up and down to move all of Theodore's things. It wasn't until they were both sitting in the car that Phoebe remembered she should inform Evelyn. Theodore was sitting next to her, pretending to nap. Phoebe sneaked a glance at him and took out her phone to message Evelyn.

Mia: [Mom, Theodore is coming to stay with us for a while. Have Pamela prepare a room for him. We'll be there in about an hour.]

Evelyn was incredulous when she saw the message and called immediately.

As soon as Phoebe answered, Evelyn's roar came through the phone, "Phoebe, explain yourself. How is Theodore coming to stay with us? Does he know about the kids?"

Phoebe's phone leaked sound, and Theodore heard everything clearly. He slowly opened his eyes.

Phoebe turned her body slightly, covered her mouth, and lowered her voice, "He knows. I'll explain when I get home. Just have Pamela prepare the room."

"No need. I'll share a room with you," Theodore suddenly said.

Phoebe was stunned, her phone slipping from her hand and falling to the floor. She turned to look at Theodore in a daze, "What did you say?"

Theodore stared at her, "Didn't you ask if I still wanted you? That's my answer."

"But at night, the kids sleep with me."

"Then let them move out. They're old enough to be independent," Theodore said matter-of-factly.

Phoebe was about to break down, "They're not even two years old yet. It's too harsh to make them independent now."

"It's because you coddle them that they never grow up. From now on, I'll take over the upbringing of the kids. You don't need to worry about it," Theodore decided.

Phoebe suspected Theodore's motive for moving to Lakeview Estates was not pure. He hadn't even officially moved in yet and was already acting like a controlling stepfather. Hubert, Boris, and Noomi were going to have a tough time ahead!
