Chapter 110
In an attic in Stormclaw City, two figures lay low in the shadows.
"What do we do? The security at starship stations is tight now, and we have no way out." A male stared at Jamari, who looked leisurely and unburdened by worry, and gnashed his teeth resentfully.
"You said that you have a way out of here, but we can't even get out of Stormclaw City, let alone Stormclaw Alliance!" the male continued.
"Will you relax? We will be able to leave when frenzy overtakes all of them." Jamari chugged his drink impatiently. Holding his wine glass, he swayed it gently. The ice cubes hit the side of the glass, producing a crisp sound.
"Anyone who suffered from the itchiness or lost control of themselves had been arrested and thrown into the dungeon cells. Them going into frenzies won't do us a lick of good." The male paced the attic back and forth restlessly.noveldrama
"What's the matter? Are you not confident with your leader's creation?" Jamari lifted the attic's curtain with his finger, resting his gaze on the soldiers in Stormclaw City.
"We're in a dire situation now. Scott has given the order to search for you in every nook and cranny, and he's very close to making his men investigate every single house.
"Let's not forget that he's an SSS-grade therian. I do not wish to die in this freaking city." The male followed Jamari's gaze and looked at the streets below.
"You'll survive. Have you forgotten about the 'ticking time bomb'? Haven't we just received news that he's being taken to Stormclaw Alliance?" Jamari chugged another glass of wine.
"He conspired with the Khielson family and plotted the ruin of my family. The Crestfall family was forced to live in poverty and misery on a lower-class planet. They should've thought that this day would come.
"I changed my name and hid my actual identity for so long, and this is the day of reckoning I've been waiting for.
"I'm curious. Would someone who callously slaughtered an entire family for his self-interest stand idly by and do nothing as his sons rip each other's hearts out?"
Naturally, the male knew who Jamari was talking about. "What's this? Why does it look like you intend to take advantage of the frenzy outbreak and sneak into the hospital to exact your revenge?"
"You got it right. I want him to see with his own eyes how miserable his youngest son is right now, and I'm going to make him watch as one of his sons murders another," Jamari said.
He smacked his lips and placed his wine glass on the desk. Then, he opened the door and left.

Back in Hopkins Galaxy Lodge, Analise put on the protective gear and followed Scott and Finlay to the dungeon cells.
"Their conditions are getting worse." She frowned as she swept an inquisitive gaze across the frenzied males.
They were all forcibly sedated and were dazed, their minds a blank slate. The thing was, the inhibitors didn't do much good. They had to be administered every couple of hours.
Analise asked Echo about this, but it said this wasn't the doing of venom. It wasn't yexoth venom or any other poisonous substance brought on by Ophir Instead, this venom wasn't even supposed to exist in the
Interstellar therian world.
The research scientists from Stormclaw Alliance and Gideon studied the research
in the past few days, and they reached a possible conclusion.
It had disappeared off the face of the universe for a long time, but it used to be known as the prion virus. The only way to contract the virus was through cannibalism.
All of these affected therians shared a commonality-they drank the so-called reagent. Therefore, the drug was most probably made from therian flesh.
According to Scott's investigation throughout the whole incident, he came to realize that the number of therians on the lower-class planet dropped drastically.
What was more, it didn't just happen to Stormclaw Alliance. Instead, the therians in other alliances also saw a reduction in their ranks.
Analise's heart sank when she
learned that it was the prion virus Turning the therians cannibalistic was the most diabolical thing to do, even if it was only done through reagents.
It didn't take a genius to figure out that Ophir was behind this atrocity.
