Chapter 330: Flashback - 70
One by one, all the preparations were done. Even though Damon had said they would prepare everything for the wedding, Jeren still rejected him because he wanted to do everything in his own pack. Everything he likes.
And the wedding day had finally arrived. Silas’s outfit was very beautiful—which making Silas glow more.
The white suit on Silas, along with his blonde hair and fair skin, suited him perfectly.
"Silas, you’re looking gorgeous, you know?" Orian said, standing behind him.
"Really? I’m also thinking I look perfect in every way. And you’re looking even more beautiful," Silas commented.
Orian was indeed looking beautiful, as he was wearing a peach-colored outfit chosen by their mom, Ariel.
Just then, Ariel and Jeren stepped into the room.
"My boy looks like a fairy," Jeren said, and they left the room.
His four mates were also ready and waiting for him in the wedding hall.
The wedding hall was decorated with only luxurious items. Every guest was mesmerized upon seeing it. All four of them were nervous while waiting for Silas, and their parents were sitting among the guests.
Just then, the door opened, and Silas stepped inside, holding Jeren’s arm. Seeing him, all four of their hearts skipped a beat, because Silas’s beauty was truly beyond limits. They couldn’t believe someone this beautiful was going to be their mate. It felt like a dream to them.
Silas and Jeren reached the four of them, and Jeren handed Silas over to them.
"If you dare make him cry, I will gouge your eyes out. So keep my son happy and take good care of him," Jeren said, as a father who loved his child deeply, both warning and blessing them.
"Don’t worry, Father. We will take good care of Silas," Damon said—an unexpected response that shocked both Jeren and Silas, as Damon had just addressed Jeren as "Father."
After that, they exchanged vows and rings, completing the wedding, with each of the four kissing Silas’s hand. But once they marked Silas, that would create a true bond between them.
Just then, Orian stepped forward. It was time for him to give a speech—because after today, his brother would be leaving forever.
"Silas, I never expected that I would be sad about you leaving. We’ve shared every memory together. We’ve fought, we’ve played... I just want to cry when I think about how tomorrow, when I wake up, I’ll realize you’re not here anymore. Then what will I do?"
Orian’s eyes were teary, and so were Silas’s as he looked at him. Jeren had literally started crying while sitting beside Ariel.
"Silas, no matter how much we fight and argue, and no matter how many times I say I hate you—don’t take it to heart. Because I still hate you that I love you so much. Just be happy, that’s what matters."
As Orian finished his last words, Silas ran towards him and hugged him. Both brothers began to cry in each other’s arms.
"Orian, be happy once I’m gone, and take care of Mom and Dad too," Silas whispered.
As the ceremony ended, the whole family hugged Silas while crying. Jeren’s eyes were swollen from crying more than anyone else.
"Silas, even after you’re married, if you want to live here, just say the word."
Silas quickly hugged Jeren while crying. And that same night, they left Silas’s pack. Everyone was sad.

In the carriage
Silas was sitting beside the window as usual, with Damon next to him, and Lysander on Damon’s other side. Kael and Theron were sitting in front of them.
"Silas, here. Wipe your face," Damon offered a handkerchief to Silas because there were dried tears under his eyes.
But when Silas was about to take the handkerchief, Damon didn’t give it to him—instead, he gently wiped Silas’s face himself. Silas felt happy that he was being taken care of.
"Thank you, Damon," Silas said.
Once Damon was done, Silas rested his head on Damon’s arm, wrapping both hands around it. Damon smiled seeing Silas’s head on his arm and started patting him gently. Eventually, Silas closed his eyes, as usual, and fell asleep. When they reached their destination, Kael carried Silas into the bedroom and laid him down on the bed before leaving.
After a while, when Silas finally woke up, he saw that he was sleeping in an unfamiliar room. He sat up and glanced around. Silas’s portraits were displayed there, in which he looked very beautiful. He stepped down from the bed and noticed how large it was—easily big enough for five or six people to sleep comfortably.
He stepped toward the portraits and looked closely. Kael’s name was written in the corner of one of the paintings—it meant Kael had painted it. The portrait was so realistic, Silas was getting lost in it when suddenly the door opened and a servant entered.
"Your Highness, you’re awake," the servant said and helped Silas get ready, because although the wedding ceremony was over, the elders from this pack would be giving their blessings in today’s ceremony.
When Silas was ready and saw himself in the mirror, he muttered, "Indeed, I’m such a beauty that I could fall in love with myself," before leaving the room.
As he came out, he saw Lysander, who had come to escort him to the ceremony.
"Silas, you look gorgeous. And don’t be nervous during the blessing ceremony. Those old folks have a habit of running their mouths too much," Lysander said.
Silas only smiled, not knowing how to reply. When they reached the hall, the pack’s eldest members and other relatives, along with some members of other packs, were present.
Damon, Theron, and Kael were already there, waiting for Silas and Lysander. Seeing them arrive, they walked over.
"You’re here, Silas. Let’s go."
Damon led Silas to the elders, who were sitting up front. Behind them sat Damon’s parents.
Silas and his four mates bowed in front of the elders.
"Isn’t he more beautiful than any ordinary omega?" Silas looked up upon hearing that. An old lady had said it.
"There will always be alphas chasing him. You’ll have to keep him under control." She was staring at Silas, even though she herself was an omega, just like him.
"I don’t get it. What do you mean by ’keep me under control’?" Silas asked. noveldrama
"Hahaha... Seems Lord Jeren didn’t teach his sons any manners. You are an omega. You have no right to question us. Just keep your head bowed," said an old alpha, who was the husband of that old lady.
Hearing this, Silas straightened up and glanced at his mates to see their reaction.
"Grandma, Grandpa, Silas is our mate. How can you talk to him like this?" Damon said
"It hasn’t even been a day since you married him, and look at you—already talking back to your grandparents. Is this what we taught you?"
Damon’s grandparents had an old-fashioned mindset, where omegas were considered useful only for one thing—breeding. According to them, an omega had no other value. Only alphas could do anything meaningful.
They were against the marriage from the start, but Damon’s parents had given permission, so it happened. Now, the grandparents wanted to use the blessing ceremony to humiliate Silas.
They had heard that Jeren allowed his omega sons to do whatever they wanted—whether it was learning to fight or going out alone—which, to them, was wrong.
"You haven’t even marked him yet. It would be best to divorce him and send him back," the grandfather said.
Silas was listening to their nonsense very calmly. Their expressions made it clear how much they despised him.
"Excuse me, I get that you’re elders, but at least behave like it. Your grandsons just got married, and you’re telling them to divorce me and send me back—just because I’m beautiful? Isn’t that a bit unreasonable?"
"Silas, you can’t talk to my grandparents like this!" Kael shouted.
But in his mind, he wanted Silas to say more. All these years, no one had dared speak against his grandparents. Now, to show that he respected them, Kael pretended to be angry.
Silas was shocked seeing Kael’s calm face as he shouted. He wasn’t a fool—he understood immediately that Kael was just pretending.
"Shut up, Kael," Silas said and looked ahead. Their grandparents were boiling with anger.
"How dare you speak to us like that! And Kael is your husband. He’s an alpha. An omega like you has no right to raise your voice to an alpha," the grandmother said.
"Aww, poor you. I guess back in your day, everyone treated you this way—even your own husband. That’s why you’re saying this to me," Silas replied, making a face that clearly pitied her.
All the relatives started murmuring. Then suddenly, the grandmother stood up and slapped Silas. The sound echoed through the entire hall. Their parents stood from their thrones, shocked.
"Now you know your place," the grandmother snickered, glaring at Silas—confident that he wouldn’t dare retaliated
